OVERVIEW
Peace Activism
+ Audience Journey + Messaging Strategy + Brand Refresh (not logo) + Website
Fields of Peace is on an urgent mission: to stop the killing of children in war. Since 2007 author and activist, Charles Busch has been captivated by the statistic that innocent children and civilians are killed in war at a rate 9x higher than that of combatant soldiers.

Through their signature initiative, "A Promise to Our Children," Fields of Peace reminds us that peace must first penetrate our hearts and consciousness, then ripple out into the world.

A Firm Foundation

The organization’s goal was two-fold:
1. To increase engagement in "The Promise"
2. To overcome the impression of being a small, under-resourced nonprofit and propel new growth and support

Together with key members of their Board, I mapped out a simple, intuitive engagement journey anchored on "The Promise"—moving participants from a personal commitment, to deeper contemplation, to finally activating their Promise out into the world, and inviting others to do the same.

“Autumn was a true partner, bringing together both creative strategy and design to propel our nonprofit forward.

We could not be happier with the outcome of completely refreshing our brand and rebuilding our website to be more compelling and engaging. We look forward to future work together.”

– Ryan Gallagher, Board Chair, Fields of Peace

“The branding and website Autumn built for us is powerful, effective, and completely beautiful. I highly recommend the professional services of Autumn Lunsford. She has significantly improved both the design and means of delivering our peace message. We intend to do ongoing work with her.”

– Charles Busch, Founder & Executive Director, Fields of Peace
